The trip home

After getting our new car repaired, we headed home. First stop Missoula, Montana. From there to West Yellowstone where we spent a night in a spectacular cabin at The Hibernation Station. Deluxe!! We drove straight to Old Faithful, walked right up and sat down, then as if on cue the geyser erupted. The girls were amazed. We hiked all the hot pots we could stand. The girls favorites were the Paint mud pot and the Dragons Lair. We were just heading over to the fishing bridge to escape the park when the road was closed due to a forest fire. That put an end to our wandering and we headed home through Lamar Valley and into Cook City and Cody WY. Still, I have not seen a wild bear inside the park. I'll keep trying!! We wanted to check out Mt Rushmore, but that will have to be another trip. Yay! I'm looking forward to another one of those. Hopefully soon!
