I've never heard of a wedding that wasn't beautiful. Colin and Emily's was no exception. La Push provided an exceptional location and we couldn't have asked for a better day. Rain was in the forecast but it only sprinkled later that night. We were a bit anxious waiting for the brides maids but our officiator was gracious about the delay. Grandma Marice was the oldest in our party at 88 and Shannon was the youngest at 5. Andy, Fatimah, and Patty came from Virginia, New York, and San Francisco but they flew. Aunt Linda and Vince drove from from Park City. Aunt Madeline and Uncle Ed drove from Salt Lake City. The rest of us were Seattlites or Nebraskans. After the ceremony we enjoyed food, drink, wedding cupcakes and conversation in the beach house. Later we built a huge bonfire on the beach and enjoyed the night sky and the sound of the surf.
