Procrastination? Wishful thinking? Horrible time management?

Kaley was baptized just before Christmas. I'm glad she decided she wanted to this for herself. It's very hard trying to get myself to church. They come because they want to... for themselves. Sometimes just getting me there is a brutal challenge I'm not always up to. I'm always glad I went when I get there.
I have no idea how the girls could stand to stay outside in the cold for so long but they seemed oblivious to the temperature. They loved sleighing at the park, skating at Mahoney and just trudging around in the waist high drifts at the side of the house. I hate to say it but I couldn't wait for them to melt.
Here it is nearly Christmas 2010 and I haven't written a thing on my blog since Christmas 2009. Not an excuse I can think of so, I will just look at my pictures and ramble away. I love this picture because it shows the ice crystals along each branch. It was so cold last winter, I was afraid it would never warm up enough to melt the snow. Well, the snow melted but I don't think we really had Summer. It wasn't as hot as I remember Nebraska being. Don't get me wrong I was warm enough but my tomato plants would agree with me, they had a hard time staying warm enough to produce much.

Well, the blog is another 6 months old and hasn't been updated since I made the dresses for the dolls. That must be a reflection of how crazy busy this year has been. Not to mention my difficulty at putting my thoughts down in words. I have good intentions. Thanks to facebook and my girls updating it several times a day, there is proof that we are surviving this fast paced lifestyle we maintain somehow.
