Memories of Dan Milton Harper Wilcox

I want to share some of the e-mails that were sent March 19th in honor of Dan's 68th birthday. He was a precious man who loved unconditionally and accepted you no matter what your choices. I know he loved his family and the lord with all his heart and he had a big heart. I miss you Dan.

I am loving your blog. What a great idea to put the tributes to Dan all in one place. I am going to put a link to yours on mine.

Here is a little tribute to Dan...I remember one year for Christmas he gave all of us Quayle kids chalk boards with erasers attached to them with strings. I thought that was the coolest present. I remember how affectionate he was with us. He gave us wonderful hugs every time we saw him. I try to do that with my nieces and nephews now 'cause there was no doubt that Dan loved us. He was so intelligent and imaginative and I remember him sifting sand through a window screen so it would be soft for us to play in. I loved his clay figures he made. Dan was so amazingly smart and sensitive. I miss and love him!!!!
